What happens next?

Ready to make an enquiry?

  • Feel free to use the form on my contact page to submit an enquiry about counselling sessions. Alternatively, you can reach out to me directly via email at ganine.hurrell@gmail.com.
  • I aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.
  • After my reply, we can continue the conversation via email or arrange a time for me to call you.
  • If you would like a free 30-minute phone consultation, we can schedule a convenient time. This initial consultation gives you the chance to share your needs and decide whether you’d like to proceed with counselling sessions.
  • If you decide to proceed, we will schedule your first session at a time that works for you.
  • Before our first session, I will send you a counselling contract to review.

What to expect at your first session:

  • We will review the counselling contract together, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions to ensure you feel completely at ease with the process.
  • If you are happy with the terms of the contract, we will both sign it and keep a copy for reference.
  • We will also discuss your unique needs and the number of sessions you feel would work best for you. This could range from short-term to long-term counselling, depending on your needs. Many clients find weekly sessions most beneficial, but we can consider fortnightly sessions if that suits you better.

Emergency advice:

If you require urgent support outside of your scheduled sessions, please contact your GP, call NHS 111 and select option 2, or visit A&E in case of an emergency.

Alternatively, you can reach out to the Samaritans anytime by calling 116 123 for confidential support.
